TS Racing is a US based karting company founded by its residing
President Tod Spaude. The company's goal is to
provide excellent service to our customers with the best
customer service, quality merchandise, expedient order shipping
along with the fastest engines and karts on the market.
TS Racing is a complete race shop covering all the various areas
of karting including: enduro road racing, sprint. pavement oval,
dirt oval and quarter midgets. In addition to the race
winning engine facility we inventory one of the largest parts
supplies in the country.
Our International business includes the importation of Vega
Tires, DR Racing Karts and IAME X30 engines. These product
lines in addition to over 12,000 individual parts make TS Racing
the leader in the US karting market.

The Department
Service - The TS Racing Service Department is a
critical player in our operations. The Service department
provides all labor services to our customers. This
department includes; 4 cycle engine service, 2 cycle engine
service, multiple dynamometers, kart assembly, customer kart
service, tire management, race team management, machine shop and
research and development.
Responsibilities
- Supervision of the 4 cycle engine department
- Supervision of the 2 cycle engine department
- Scheduling of incoming work for engine or karts shop
- Coordination with the race team
- Management of personnel in the service department
- Analysis of department costs and income
- Work with customers in person and by telephone
- Preparation of karts and equipment for race weekends
- Fulfill orders for karts, engines and equipment
- Insure adequate supplies for the department
- Attending staff meetings
- Provide status to management on work load and task
assignments
- Interact with shop personnel to ensure work instructions
are accurate
- Prioritize workloads based on schedules provided
- Process the necessary documentation to complete job
assignments and resolve discrepancies in order to expedite
the flow of material
- Resolve discrepancies arising from incorrect paperwork
or other related problems
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years supervisory experience
- Experience with customer service
- Experience with computer systems
- Good organizational skills
- Ability to work with deadlines
