This rain cover kit complies with the 2019 Briggs 206 United States Rule Set.

Just remove the stock 206 air filter, install the two cover support rings, re-install the filter,
secure the cover and go win races in the rain!
This design includes a ½” upward offset in order to provide as much tire clearance as possible.
The top front edge of the cover is notched to provide clearance for the throttle cable boss assembly.
The two injection molded ABS plastic support rings are a light press fit on the stock Briggs air filter,
just a slight push and twist will get them seated squarely!

LO206 Air Filter Rain Cover
This LO206 air filter rain cover installs and uninstalls in just a few minutes without any modification to the stock Briggs filter per the Briggs LO206 rules. The only tool needed is a #2 Phillips screwdriver.
This canister has over 8 times the air flow area as the LO206 carburetor so,

The two molded plastic support rings included are a slight press fit on the Briggs air filter. No need to force them, just a slight twist will get them seated squarely! Don’t squish your air filter!
INSTRUCTIONS
- Remove the stock Briggs LO206 air filter from the carburetor by loosening the band clamp.
- Install the larger ring on the air filter aligning the small plastic tab with the metal bar on the bottom of the filter element. (Picture #1)
- Install the smaller ring on the closed end of the filter aligning the flat in the plastic cap with the print on the filter. (Picture #2)
- Re-install the filter with rings on the carburetor. (Picture #3) Check fit the cover cable notch clearance and screw hole alignment adjusting the filter as needed. Tighten the clamp.
- Slip the rain filter cover over the rings/filter aligning the 2 screw holes (Picture #4)
- Install the two #8 screws provided. They need to be snug only, DO NOT overtighten!!
- Again, this filter cover assembly has a built in bottom offset for added tire/filter clearance!
- Now go race in the rain and win with confidence (A good set of Vega rain tires helps too!)
